Community service

Part of PULSE’s commitment to the financial-services industry includes helping our local community reach economic stability through donations and an employee-volunteer program.

CYCLE Bike Build

CYCLE is dedicated to changing lives one bike at a time. The program is designed to buy, build, and deliver bicycles to at-risk children in the Greater Houston area.

The bicycles are incentives for children to stay in school and out of trouble while improving their health. PULSE employees participate by building bicycles as part of the CYCLE bike-building event.

Success In Schools

PULSE's Success in Schools program helps empower our youth to achieve a brighter future.

PULSE volunteers assemble and distribute backpacks filled with school supplies to local elementary school students at the beginning of each school year.

Undies for Everyone

Undies for Everyone provides children living in poverty or crisis with new underwear, recognizing the importance of this small basic need as part of a child’s increased chances of long-term success.

PULSE volunteers sort and pack underwear that will be distributed to children in crisis, encouraging regular school attendance and success into young adulthood.

Houston Food Bank

Close to one million people in the 18 southeast Texas counties served by the Houston Food Bank are considered food-insecure and lack consistent access to enough food for a healthy life. To address this issue, the Houston Food Bank distributes food and other essentials to those in need through a network of more than 1,600 community partners.

PULSE volunteers support projects based on community needs, such as inspecting and sorting food or repacking dry goods into family-sized portions. These opportunities create a meaningful impact in our community.
